Have you won anything of signifigance from it, or do you know anyone who has? I've never seen anything that shows me these contests are anything more than a promotional tool. Do people evr actually win these huge corporate things and can we verify that people have?

Only won a few sandwhiches here and there. But of course that was when I was a kid.

Now I don't eat at McDonald's anymore.

No, nothing better than a value meal ever. But it was breakfast, which is awesome, because breakfast is the only thing I can eat at mcdonalds that doesn't leave me really disappointed.
Not that I don't eat lunch or dinner there still, though not so often.

I'm always tempted to get a job at McDonalds during Monopoly Month and just take a box or ten of cups home with me.

Do you guys remember when it turned out that some McDonald's employee was rigging it for years?

You couldn't pay me to eat at McDonald's. Actually, you could. You couldn't lure me there with the promise of many will enter few will win, though.

The guy in the next room pull twenty best buy bucks out of thirty dollars of Mickey D's. This is the guy that has gone weeks paying for significantly less than a third of his twenty oz. sodas, though, so his creepy corporate luck is probably not representative.

That said, why in the nine hells would you subject yourself to McDonald's food, regardless of the promised reward?

If it's good enough for Morgan Spurlock, it's good enough for SuperNintendo.

I work at McD's, so I get all sorts of free stuff anyway, so I've given away plenty of winning pieces.
Winning something? Ha, yeah right.

One of my coworkers got a fridge with the best buy bucks. How great is that?

When I was a kid, my dad won a $500 shopping spree at footlocker. But I worked at McDonalds at the time, and we totaly didnt think to have someone else turn it in. So they denied him because one of his family members (me) worked there.

I never got the full gist of this game, ever since it came out in the nineties.

I was like..."So did I win?...oh wait I have to collect more of these?...but there all the same!"...then I shot myself.

when disneyworld was opening up their like safari park, McDonalds had a thing where you pulled off two game pieces - the front and back of an animal. One of my best childhood friends matched up the front and back of a stegosaurus and he and his family got sent to Disneyworld for 4 days. Lucky son of a bitch, although if it makes you all feel better, he did get explosive diarrhea for half of the trip.

I think because of the way sweepstakes are governed, that would be a federal crime. But I'm just talking out of my ass, cause I'm the type of person who always has to have something to say, even when I have no idea what I'm talking about because I'm the kind of person who says stuff even when I have no idea what I'm talking about, because I'm the kind of person who likes the sound of his own voice, because I'm the kind of person who just likes to talk to hear himself talk.
