I personally I prefer pancakes. Perhaps one of you could help me out with a problem I'm having with making pancakes. I cook one side and when it comes time to flip the pancake the batter on the top leaks out as I turn it so that I end up with one cooked pancake and one horrible mess of a pancake I then have to turn again. I've tried thickening and thining the batter, almost to the point of making crepes. As well as making smaller pancakes and tilting the pan to spread out the batter. I think I might have the heat on too high so that I turn it to prevent burning before the batter thickens. Any suggestions?

Medium heat. Wait for the bubbles to start breaking. After the bubbles break, "tap" a spatula underneath the pancake making sure to make your way around. When ready, HIYO!, slide spatula all the way under and flip!

Pancakes! But they have to be from scratch. They can’t be that pre-made shit. Frozen = ralph.
OK, the pre-made powder mix can be good in a pinch but they don’t compare.

WAFFLES, nothing holds my maple syrup like the deep square crunchy cradles that come together to make the heavenly WAFFLE.

If I'm eating out it's definitely pancakes. While I prefer pancakes, there still has to be that box of waffles in the freezer. Waffles with a couple scoops of ice cream melting on top? That's pretty good stuff.

Maybe the best pancakes I ever had were up in a small place called the Noonmark Cafe in the Adirondacks. They had big, fresh blueberries and real maple syrup. I'm going to start drooling on my laptop.

Just got a box of Eggo Buttermilks. Gonna drown 'em in boysenberry (which was way cooler when I was a kid, because I thought it was "poisonberry").
