unranked:

American Beauty ("It's hard to stay mad when there's so much beauty in the world")
Schindler's List
The Fourth World War
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Baraka

... and those are just the ones I can think of right off. There's more, it doesn't happen often but the right type of movie will do it for me.

truthfully I cannot think of five - I'm not the type that cries regularly if at all - not that there is anything wrong with a good cry.

But - Big Fish - for some reason the last 15-20 minutes of that film

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
From when the son arrives at the old village

has me blubbing like a schoolgirl with a skinned knee. I'm talking major waterworks, in fact so many tears fall that friends don't even take the Michael as they think that it is something more then it is. It was on TV the other night and they changed the channel.

I really don't know why I cry, but if works every time.

Oh and Finding Neverland has an impact as well.

i cry during almost every movie ive ever seen, no matter what. guarenteed.

when i was 7, we watched a movie at school about some lion named elsa (or something like that). the movie was on for barely 10 minutes when i started bawling so hard that they had to turn on the lights and walk me out of the room. all the kids were staring at me, and then they called my mom to come get me.

im very emotional blush

I don't cry in movies- but the ones that make me feel all emotional:

Kramer vs Kramer - ok, i probably cried in this.
The last episode of Blackadder 4 (seriously... wars suck)
Mask - The only thing Cher did that I really liked.
Elephant Man - ok, I know i cried in this.
Blow - at the end- it is so sad when you see the 'real' characters picture. Blub Blub.

Ok, maybe I am just a big softie.

I am a freaking sap. I have cried during and after a lot of movies. These are the ones that instantly came to mind though.

Glory
The Shawshank Redemption
Titanic
Riding In Cars With Boys (the end with her dad...my dad had passed away not long before that and that part still to this day makes me sad)
The Notebook (I was damn near about to go into hysterics when I saw this. Much for the same reason as Boys. My mother had never been with another man and I thought about my parents too much)
