Seriously, it's always been a disaster. Time for a change. Start it right after the World Series, and have the playoffs end right before March Madness. Why would hockey want to compete with sports that are, um, successful?

Some of us look at it as something to watch instead of baseball.

yah, hockey, what a failure. especially in canada, russia, sweden, finland, czech republic, slovakia, and every US city that has a team since every game tonite is either at or near sellout.

baseball fans can have their sport.

and the regular season in hockey ends in april, nevermind the postseason.

The new rules are supposed to help with attendance. Personally I can just tolerate the shootout tiebreakers.

I love the rule changes, especially the shootouts. It'll make things tons more interesting and hopefully undo all the damage that the Devils did to the league.

I will be watching the Rangers and the Flyers tonight it sthe only game that is on basic cable. But its hockey and it well do.

watching the rangers flyers right now,,, 3 to 1 philly. later on i will watch the begining of phoenix / vancover so i can see my boy Gretzky making is coaching debut
