Now hes generating major Oscar buzz for his latest effort, Good Night, and Good Luck. The film chronicles the real-life conflict between television newsman Edward R. Murrow, Senator Joseph McCarthy and the House Un-American Activities Committee starring David Strathairn as Murrow and Clooney himself as Fred Friendly, Murrows producer.
