um, Shiflett is the guitarist, Nate Mendel is the bassist...

Yeah, I was just about to mention that. I don't see how someone could make that kind of an error, considering Nate's been their bassist since the beginning (excluding Dave playing bass on the demos and first album).

Chris was rad in NUFAN... the band hasn't been quite the same without him... i'm surprised none of the other guys in Me First and the Gimme Gimmes didn't make any appearances on the album... or did they?

Chris and his brother also recorded a really rad album with baritone guitars. I can't think of the name off hand, but it was pretty rad.

And here I was hoping that DRE would address their whole Alive & Well support.

I always thought that was a pretty nice gig, playing guitar with the Foos. Hey, anybody know more about that baritone guitar thing? I'd be interested in that.

I did a wordsearch first thing for that.

You people on here are still pretty fiesty about that Alive&Well stuff.
If you want someone from the Foos to address it, it'd have to be Nate - he was the guy behind it and he's spoken at length about how/why.
