Ever wished you could turn off the lights in your bathroom and be treated to a softly-glowing iridescent bathtub, toilet, and sink that change colors on command? Yeah, me neither. But hey, those things now exist.

Internal halogen or multi-chromatic LED lights can be programmed to change color or stay on your favorite neon shade. Faucet fixtures are not included.

The self standing, single color polyethylene bathtub sells for $1,399. A multi-color version will set you back $2499. The wall-mounted sink retails for $249. The company said it will sell the bath set to you without the lights, but why wouldn't you want to lie in a pool of green or splash your face in alternating hues of red, yellow, orange, yellow, and pink?

Design firm GNR8 (pronounced "generate") has a huge line of glowing walls, garbage cans, lamps, and bathroom fixtures that have the potential to create the most bizarrely obnoxious home ever. The part of my brain that is eternally 6 years old screams "Wow... COOl!"

All the items on the GNR8 site look like crappy pseudo mod overpriced hipster furniture. Deeeeesgusting.

Dude, for real. That Dual Table is neat and all, but a table built from MDF for $1500? I'll pass. MDF is the shit they use in cheap ass houses that fall apart in a few years, folks.

reat. Now people can have a bad trip without the doses! Do they have a TV like that so one could freak out in a GNR8-furnished house while enjoying that flashing Pokemon cartoon that induced seizures a while back?

Taking a bath in a dark bathroom with an illuminated bathtub sounds really relaxing and nice.

The price however... not so much.

The technology behind these ultra-cool products is 100% 21st century, but the design concepts are straight out of 1965-73. Check some old high-end design handbooks and catalogs and art books showing designs from that era and see what I mean.
