That line and that scene ruined what was an otherwise excellent movie. It would have been less annoying if Pitt had been wearing coke-bottle glasses, saying "Hey Layyyyyyyyyyydeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

In the end that the director originally wanted, Freeman shoots Spacey. would have been better.

Agree. The way that played out in the storyboards worked much better.

So this OCD afflicted control freak perfectionist ends his reign of terror with two fo the most tenuously arranged symbolic murders ever:

Spacey: "Oh yeah I'll be envy and you be wrath."
Pitt: "Well I am goddamn pissed off at you, but you're not really envious, you've just been saying that to set up this tenuous encounter."
Spacey: "Shoosh now and just shoot me there's a good Brad."
Pitt: "And there's no way, if you're dead, that you can guarantee either that I'll end up dead *or* the circumstances under which I will end up so."
Spacey:"Brad..."
Pitt: "I mean as a result of this trauma I could become deeply religious find peace with my own existence and pass away calm and fulfilled at 100 years of age for all you know."
Spacey: Alright, let's just forget it...

No, no, in the original ending I shoot everyone for making such a shiity film. Of course, I only wing them, as they all went on to make much better movies.

No. That's why Troy bugged me and I refuse to watch Alexander.

I'm the guy who sits in time travel movies and says, "Well if he fixed that then he wouldn't have to go back in time. But if he didn't go back in time he would have to fix it so then he'd have to go back. But if he goes back..." And that just goes on and on and on.

But that's probably just me.
