dogs all the way, i've never had a cat smart enough to play fetch with.
Lots of cats play fetch. And unlike dogs I have never seen a cat get faked out by someone only pretending to throw something.
one of my cats plays fetch. it's really funny. she'll keep doing it until she's absolutly exhausted. the other one stares at her like she's nuts.
i must say my cat does try to play fetch...but i had to teach her...when i had a dog he did it automatically...
Our cat had to teach us. Because we didn't expect it of him. It took us a while to understand that when he kept bringing us those little plastic tops off of bottles, the kind that are shaped like a thimble, that he wanted us to throw it for him. He likes to fetch balls and stuffed animals too, but, he loves those little plastic things.
Paloma loves to play with tops of bottles and anything that can fit into her mouth..its kind of funny!

All boys, those are.
The snake is incredibly calm. The iguana up top is a cunt. All you have to do is remember that you don't smell like a rat (hopefully) and they likely think you're way too effing big to eat

I've always owned dogs. But I'm not a dog person. If I were, i would like all dogs. There are some dogs I simply don't like at all. I'm not a cat person either, but there are many cats I've gotten along with rather well. I've always wanted a cat, and came close to taking in a stray kitty last year. I've always felt guilty that I didn't, because he accepted me as I was holding him. But I was afraid my dog would tear the little guy up the first time I wasn't at home for more than ten minutes. My dog has always been kind of a nut. he's mellowed as he's grown older. He used to hate new people, but now he gets very happy when people come over.
Though I was the first to bond with him when he was a puppy, he was actually my parents' dog. They both died a couple of years back and he's become my dog. Or...I've become his human. Whichever. But I think that his mellowing has come because of a dog-version of depression. He's eager to meet new two-legs, but I don't know how he'd react to another four-legs. He has never been accepting of other four-legged things. And this is unfortunate, because cats are cool.
I am a dog person, but ended up taking in my brother's cat when he got married, (his wife is "allergic to her"). Until that point we (the cat and myself) didn't really get along, and now she takes up more space on my bed than i do.
Everytime I start thinking about how dogs are noble creatures, I turn around and see my dog licking the fuck out of his non-existant ballsack. And then, he glances at me with a look that says, "What's in your wallet?"
Oh hell. There he goes again. Well, at least he doesn't do this when I have company.
My girlfriend's cat, on the other hand, farts. Alot. And she doesn't care who is around when she has to blow one. "I am cat. Hear me roar."
