WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT THE BUDWEISER HATE?!

I AM EVEN CRANKIER TODAY THAN YESTERDAY.

Well, Budweiser is known to cause a mean hangover.

in canada there's a joke about american beer and sex in a canoe.

I know it's all in good fun and honestly...I get the joke. However...it's kind of a flawed point. The "American" beers most people think of are Coors, Budweiser, Miller.....the thing is, they're all Pilsner-style beers. They're supposed to be light & crisp.

You have American beers like Samuel Adams that are full-tasting, darker beers that hold their own with anything else out there. Brooklyn Brown Ale, Flying Fish, Anchor Steam...I can rattle off a bunch of readily-available American beers that are just as bold & hoppy as your favorite Canadian stuff.

Where's GoatsGoToHell when we need 'im?

We drank stuff like Bud, High Life & PBR in high school 'cause it was cheap & easy to get. Try some good Wisconsin beers like Leinenkugels. wink

AM I callous for initially thinking, "WOW! I want one of those cans, un-opened, that could be worth money someday if not a cool souvenier on its own."?

I made sure I brought a six pack back home with me. The joke around camp was that you had to open wth your eyes closed and imagine the sound was a beer opening.
