my dear geeky friends,

I need to get myself a nifty mp3 recorder for interviews. Any recommendations would be mighty welcome.
It must be of ace sound quality as I'll be recording for the radio. So I wouldn't mind if it supported aiff, or at very least so I could record mp3 that's not too much compressed.
I don't need it to be also a digi camera/phone/radio/underwater watch kind of bollox, I just need a perfect recorder with as much relevant features packed in it. It should be easily downloadable onto pc and mac for edit with USB cable. Minimal on-device editing. Jack socket to plug in another mike. Rechargeable battery. Playback feature. Big memory. That kind of thing.

I'm not sure if http://www.thinkgeek.com or http://www.newegg.com ship to the UK, but that's where I'd check first. They have the quality shit you're looking for. Hope that helps!
