derby girls

are there any other rollergirls on sg? demolitionkitten and i are in the detroit derby girls, but if there are rollergirls on the site, it might be cool to see if we can have a group.

i've seen a couple sets with skates in them recently.

I was thinking of trying out for the Philly Rollergirls . Did a lot of skating as a kid and I think roller derby gurls are fucking HAWT

That's the AZRD (friends of mine but not my fave AZ league)
I'm a loyal Renegade fan first of all!

I watched that matchup here in Phx.
AZRD was womped!

Many of the TRD top skaters are former/present Renegade Rollergirls!
I still think the Renegades would clean up the rink with any other
team other than the Texas Rollergirls!
(uh oh rivalries! haha)

I should give a tip of the hat to the L.A. Derby Dolls-
masters of media P.R.,
since one of my sweethearts just gave up her Burlesque career to join the Dolls!

No I love the TRD!
I've been tight with a good many of them for decades now...
and Danny(emcee Serge) is one of my oldest friends!

a bunch of our girls and supporters went, though. they were the midwest militia for the scavenger hunt!

I was there, but not as a participant.

Ran into an ex- from 18 years back. That was fucking odd. I should have asked what team she was on. Then again, she could have been visiting from the gay bar across the street, and then that might have become an awkward question indeed.

But seriously, I would have liked to know where she's living and what's going on in her life right now. For all I know she could be living here now.
