but I haven't driven it in years. It's a 1970 Volvo 1800 with a 3.8l Buick V6 (I guess I'm sort of from a Buick family) and a GM automatic transmission. When it was running well, it would surprise the hell out of people. Volvo 1800's aren't particularly fast stock, in fact they're pretty damn slow. I haven't live anywhere where it would make since to have a matainance intesive car that I'm in love with for the past five years or so. So my poor volvo has been sitting under a cover in my dad's driveway.
My brother's Dodge challenger is sitting in the same driveway... Oddly enough, my dad's T-type (mentioned above) is sitting behind my grandfathers house. He can't get it smogged anymore.

Dia said: I would kill to own my own monster truck. Those are hot. And I want the pimped out Marilyn Manson Caddie. And a black 64 1/2 mustang convertable with red damask interior and custom everything.
As soon as I finish my Chevelle...my next project is a Hearse
I have a 1969 Buick Lowrider. There was a picture of it up a while ago. Someone hosted it for me. I can put it back up if someone else wants to host again.
I've always wanted to restore a Mint Green Morris Minor 1000 and stick a Volkswagen common rail diesel motor in it and disc brakes (and do a lot of other things none of which would change the appearance of the car). But i guess that doesn't count as a custom car around here.
Tried to make it look sporty and nice, but kept things reasonably subtle, I didn't want to make it looks like a rice-mobile, so I shot for the slightly more classy look.

This old Porsche of mine is semi-custom. Converted to late style mirrors and wheels. Not much to the engine though, just a K&N filter and a few ignition goodies.
This old bastard is modified to the gills, inside only. It runs a 2110cc flat four with dual two-barrel 40IDF Weber carbs, fed to the wheels by a race-built 4 speed. It's by far the faster of the two.
