Any Web Artist for barter/portfolio experience?

(please dont flame me, I asked a few members if this would be ok to post, and all agreed yes...if you still hate me for it, Ill remove it)


Hi,

I have a small ad agency, with a small stable of national, direct response / infomercial clients, and a few campaigns we need some ads for, mostly email ads & 468x60 banners. And of course, we don't have a budget from the client for some work.

I need to get at least one client's work done by end of the week, if not end of day Wednesday. We have all ad copy, not all direction & artist.

Will barter with you for.....I dunno, what do you need?

Or, if you need some big work to add to your portfolio, this is a great opportunity, seriously. These campaigns may be showing up in bulk mail folders everywhere, which is an artists mixed blessing...but tons of exposure, for sure.

Oh, and if we end up working on several projects together, you can certainly use us as a reference as well as use the art for portfolio work in landing more paying gigs. Also, if the work is good quality, and when a client needs more work & has the budget for it, we're always looking for good artists, as are a half dozen of our vendors.

i suppose i could do some work for a reference, i'm always looking for a work reference. i'm just getting my computer put together now, so it might be a day before i can get to work.

on edit: i also have classes during the day, so that has to take priority. i should have plenty of time at night to work though.

i suppose i should post work experience, huh? i'm a junior (3rd year upperclassman) at Northern Michigan University in Graphic Communications, and i've done minor work here at school. i've also worked at a sign shop for a summer.
