I'm having a house warming party with a zombie theme, I wanna make some jugs of cocktails anyone got any ideas??
Green ones would be great, but any will do as long as they're tasty!!!

You could make....dun dun dun... Zombies.

Zombie
3/4 ounce heavy-bodied rum (about 96 proof)
3/4 ounce dark Puerto Rican rum
3/4 ounce light Puerto Rican rum
3/4 ounce red rum
1/2 ounce apricot brandy
3/4 ounce pineapple juice
Juice of 1 large lime
1 teaspoon brown sugar

Shake well with ice and pour into a Zombie glass without straining.
Add more ice if necessary to fill the glass.
Float a dash of 151 proof rum on top.
Garnish with mint, pineapple and maraschino cherries.

P.S. to "Float" 151 over the drink and you dont have a valve, put your thumb over the bottle opening and trickle the 151 into the drink... it should stay on top.

A few drinks that might do well with the undead:
TWIN PEAKS
4-6 cracked ice cubes
dash of triple sec
2 shots of bourbon
1 shot Benedictine
1 measure lime juice
slice of lime
shake until foamy strain into chilled high ball glass...

EL DIABLO
6-8 cracked ice cubes
2-3 strips lime peel
I measure of lime juice
3 shots white tequila
1 shot creme de cassis

Wouldn't work for a zombie theme but my favorite is a dry gin martini.

By the way, just pouring any alcoholic drink into a martini glass doesn't make it a martini or require you to put "-tini" at the end... aka: the freaking "appletini"

wink

Yup . . I think so too!

I use at least 1/2 teaspoon of horseradish, and 1 whole teaspoon of Worcestershire. Garnish with a stick of celery.

i think it's funny how people pick cocktails based on name/color more than actual taste. In my opinion, you are better off making a simple sangria or whop, if you are going to make it jugs. These other drinks are fine, but you aren't going to want to spend the money to make a gallon of them, not to mention people drinking them are gonna get really trashed, really fast. Sangria is good in large quantities, easy to make, and gets better the longer it sits. Same with whop!

Toxic Waste

1 oz. Midori
2 oz. gin
Tonic water

Pour the first two ingredients in a highball (tall glass), preferably frosted, over ice. Top off with tonic water. Added bonus: the quinine in the tonic water makes this cocktail glow under blacklight. For more crazy color, you can also use half tonic water, half Mountain Dew.
