I'm probably going to get WoW, just to give myself something todo, instead of going out and spending too much cash.

(ie, spend 40 for 2/3 months gaming... rather then just blow 100 on useless shite every couple weeks).

*sigh* debt, it sucks.

My guy of 9 years is always playing some sort of video game.
He actually got me addicted to Diablo 2 online for about a year.
He is now addicted to World of Warcraft for sure. He even tried to get me to play (I created a character but that's about it).

I'm okay with him playing WoW, even when it is sometimes 8+ hours at a time. He enjoys playing and that's what really matters.
Sure, sometimes I'd rather him spend more time with me instead of the keyboard, but then I run off and start sewing or call up a friend and go out.

I'm not much of a gamer anymore, but damn.....at least you're tolerant of the gaming. I'd have killed for that kind of quality in the past.

Final Fantasy XI caused me to get back in touch with my lost best friend/brother and patch things up. THAT was worth losing a relationship for-I'd have never been able to devote that kind of time with her around.

WoW sucks, play DAoC much better

but anyways, I don't play any of those games myself anymore, they just take away my life.

I do feel a bit bad for my roommate's girlfriend though. She's been a bit of a Warcraft widow lately.

My computer can't play any games, and my Xbox and PS2 are broken I have nothing to nerd out on.

I'm a ragnorok widow. It is a reason we broke up. I got tired of sitting next to him, watching him play, and trying to get him to leave the computer alone for a couple hours.

I miss him, but I don't miss the boredom of waiting.

I refuse to play this out of fear that it will eat my brain. We've lost too many good men and women out there. *sobs*

Well, I've handled my WoW addiction quite well. I just rock up every once and a while, melt off a few faces and then get back with my friends.

What level is he?

If low, tell him that he can only level up once a day. If higher... one raid a week.
