The tattoo on my shoulder didn't hurt much. The tattoo on the left hand side of my lower back/almost on my side didn't hurt (my artist warned me it's one of the more painful spots for women, because it's so fleshy.) much. The ones on the insides of my arms didn't hurt much. Granted, it doesn't exactly feel good, but I haven't had any really painful experiences yet. I'm sure I will, though.
