Excuse me, but exactly what are you suggesting that I don't know what I'm talking about? Ten years ago, the music industry came up with the MOBO awards. Now, if I'm watching MTV I have to play 'spot the white guy'... Gangsta Rap, R&B and Hip Hop have not only gone from the underground to mainstream, but completely flooded the market. Is it any wonder kids look up to people like Eminem, 50 Cent and Nelly as role models and try and emulate the way they dress, act and speak?

Which is exactly what people have been saying about EVERY form of youth culture for the past 200 years.

He doesn't get it.

Maybe they've been saying it, because it's true. Every generation makes a change, this is this generation's change.

I blame Jazz. Or Rock. Or Punk. Or whatever tired excuse that always gets brought up by people who don't know what they're talking about.

The question is, who is more insufferable: those who criticise youth culture, or those who defend it solely on prinicipal. It's the age old battle between overbearing critique and brainless virtue.

Well, I'm not so much criticizing youth culture, just calling it as I see it smile
