Moscow newspaper Novye Izvestia has reported that a herd of cows will spend the harsh Russian winter dining on a most unusual feast...confiscated marijuana.

A seize of this size is normally destroyed. However, a Federal Drugs Control Service spokeswoman for the Urals region of Sverdlovsk explains:

well, thanks to the "gateway drug" we should be hearing something involving cows and "rocks" soon.

I wonder how much extra beef a stoned cow with the munchies will produce.

Would the cow's milk be new intoxicant, and do you think it would be illegal if it were?

so they were forced to destroy the sunflower and maize crops that the weed was growing in....but they kept the weed?

OK, just to add another level of dementia to this... I started thinking about what a herd of pot-crazed cows would look like, then I thought "What if they were Muppet cows?"

i was gonna produce some milk til i got high..................

They were going to destroy it, but the cows eat the sunflower and maize....and they didn't want to take away the cows food, so they left all of it instead of doin what they originally planned to do....

What will happen to the cows when all the weed is gone? That is going to make for some cranky cows. Better send em' to the Bessy Ford clinic.
