I am haunted by my dreams very often frown I think that because my outlets for venting are limited, my mind uses dreams to help me cope with what is going on, which in turn makes my dreams have a strong message and makes them more memorable

A good trick to remembering them is to keep a piece of paper or a sketchbook and pen by your bed and as soon as you wake up... like not even being able to see straight... write shit down. Even random stuff.... cause for some weird reason... if I write something like, "Mc Donalds", "duct tape" and "ruler"... then I will remember that my dream meant that I "would go the distance to make sure that I would stick to Mc Donalds in any situation."

Um... right. Well, you get the idea.

When I was little I remembered them all the time because they were usually one of two types: i'm in some strange locale, different each time, and I am being chased by Frankenstein, or I'm falling from a high place ie. off a building, cliff, getting pushed out of a plane.

Now a days, my dreams are random as hell. Instead of just one thing, they are bits and pieces squeezed together to the point that it hardly ever makes sense if at all. I basically only wind up remembering cetain parts that stand out. For example, I had dream recently where my cat that died a couple years ago came back to life and I took him with me when I went back to my high school where I was making up a test I missed years ago. The person in front of me asks if he can use my eraser and my cat pounces on his head and starts scratching the crap out him. Next thing I know I am in a ballet class being taught by a samurai warrior who is in the middle of scolding this guy who looks like Lou Gosset Jr. for not bringing the right shoes for dancing. Remebering that much is kinda rare for me.

I remember my dreams almost every single night. I'm 33 and I still remember dreams I had when I was 5 years old. I have a great visual memory.

I have amazing dreams sometimes, action packed and full of excitement. This morning I was dreaming I was playing football for the Steelers ( my favorite team since I lived in the burgh for 30 yrs). I was playing linebacker and about to blitz the QB and crush him....when my gf called and woke me up right before the snap lol...I was so pissed!!
