Broken Flowers and Bill Murray

While anything involving Bill Murray clearly goes in the "sex talk" board, anyway, I wanted to recommend Broken Flowers.

Murray is still on a roll, he is amazing, the film and it's stellar cast ****Jeffrey Wright as his hilarious Ethiopian neighbor who sets him off on his journey, on to Sharon Stone, Jessica Lange, Chloe Sevigny, etc****are lovely, the story is sweet/bittersweet...warm...hilarious...just filled with wonder and lovely stuff. And not a dull moment...everything was perfectly in stride, well timed, etc. Swear, honest.

You will go see it now and report back but be kind, I'm sensitive about my main man.

Heard it sucked, but I plan on finding out myself.

Take me with you. No seriously, call me before you go.

I want to see it very badly, but I'm bummed that I'll have to suffer a Chloe Sevigny performance to do so.

If you don't mind the long, long, long lingering shots, which drive some people mad in the post-MTV age, the movie has some great moments. One of my favorite moments involved a character named Lolita -- who deserved a much longer lingering shot.

Bill Murray can do no wrong. Even when he sucks, he's good.

If I wanted to watch Bill Murray frown for two hours I'd put Rushmore on freeze-frame.
