Terrence Howard has been a working actor now for many years. Most people remember him as the villain in Big Momma's House and more recently in Paul Haggis indie hit Crash. But now he has the role hes been waiting for all his life as DJay the Memphis pimp who discovers he has a gift for crunk in Hustle & Flow.
really good film excellent performance by howard. he comes off just a touch pretentious in the interview. (reffering to yourself in the third person) it's about time that he started to get noticed though.

NOT to be argumentative but to point out the obvious: aren't you being just as pretentious with your comment? everyone at some time in their lives have been more than pretentious when they are proud of something that they have accomplished. or when commenting/speaking on a subject that they feel overly knowledgeable about.
but as for the movie itself.... i can not wait to go see this one. i'm really fascinated with the whole concept of it all.
