I dislike Thanksgiving and Christmas; if I could be sedated from Nov. 1 to about the middle of January, this would be fine with me. But Halloween! October! So fine ... especially in places where the leaves turn colors, and people burn them, and kids come out.

Last halloween was the best, I dressed up as Alex from Clockwork Orange and ran amuck through the steets of Tokyo singing in the rain! What a glorious feeling, I'm happy once again! Yes it was a good night... a good night for a little of the old ultra-violence!

I'm afraid that this year will just be a let down after Tokyo... and ever since Oingo Boingo broke up I've missed the dia de los muertos concerts they used to do.

I'm all the year with my cock up for Halloween. I've always loved Halloween. If I died and went to Halloweentown I would positively be in heaven. Sadly the last couple years I didn't do anything really exciting, but still, it is a magical time of year. I always get this fuzzy feeling when October rolls around. It reminds me of walking home from school in the chilly air as a kid, stepping on crunchy dead leaves, smelling the smoke from the fireplaces, all the while knowing that Halloween was just a few weeks away. Hopefully I'll get to make up for lackluster past Halloweens this year.

And yeah, summer sucks ass.

dates are decided now, i land in NC on the 22nd, then fly to NYC for the 27th, then back to NC on the 30th, and back to the UK on november 6th.
