You ever see an ad for a movie that's about to hit theaters, and you think, "How the fuck isn't this movie going straight to Blockbuster?" Go to video, go directly to video, do not pass theater, do not collect Oscar nomination.

Inspired by: Stealth. Fuck, that movie looks like it should be straight to USA network or FX or something.

I watched March of the Penguins last night.

It was a glorified Discovery Channel special. Not bad by any means (okay, maybe a little boring at times), but it was just not special enough to be in the top 10 grossing films for the week.

It was nothing compared to The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill, a much better bird story.

Evolution with David Duchovny and Julianne Moore (flaming fucking TURD)
Wag the Dog (even with Dustin Hoffman)
Kung Pow Enter the Fist (even though it was funny)

I know that there are plenty more, but those are off the top of my head...

The Devil's Rejects. I think I would have liked it more if it hadn't gotten a theatrical release.

Evolution was great. I'm happy I got to see that in theaters. I only wish I would have known about Kung Pow, when it was in theaters.

Napolean Dynamite, Queen of the Damned, Kung Fu Hustle, and many more that I can't think of, shouldn't have been in theaters.

A weird sci-fi script twisted into an awful comedy.

I can't tell if this is a reference to that film or not (the clip about 3/4 of the way through).
