I am curious about this, since I recently spent a lot of time driving on the interstate.

1. Have you ever been pulled over while driving on the interstate?

2. Did you get a ticket?

That is all.

Ah, I hadn't thought about that. What is the British equivalent to the interstate?

Yes. And Yes. However, I've gotten most of my tickets from local cops, on secondary roads. If you drive 5 to 7 mph over the limit, they will generally leave you alone.

1. Yes. I was doing 110 in a 65. The cop paced me for fifteen minutes. When I finally looked in the review mirror, there he was, flashing his lights. I pulled over. He searched the car and my person.

2. The truck belonged to a friend of mine. He had insurance, but the proof was not in the truck. So I got a ticket for no proof and speeding.

When I asked the cop why he didin't blare his sirens, he said, "because I don't have to!"

I've never been pulled over. I've never got any kind of ticket for driving or parking offences. I've never triggered any speed or signal cameras. As far as I know I've never broken any traffic laws ever.

I've only ever been pulled over for speeding three times and they were all on city streets. Two tickets and one "Watch your speed."

I also gotten pulled over for not having my headlights on twice, both on city streets.

You got me beat, I got lasered doing 97 in a 65 (although I had slowed down a lot by the time I zoomed past the state cop).

Ticket = $185 + 4 points.

yes 3 times in 3 states on one road trip, 110 in montana (was the time where there was no speed limit so he gave me a ticket for not wearing a seatblet) 95 in a 70 North Dakota (those people do the exact speed and drive in a perfect patern so it was just a slolom course weaving around them) and in northern Minnsota 93 in a 70( cop was on the other side of the freeway and slide a 180 in the ditch almost taking out a couple of cars when he popped up in my lane, i just pulled over and waited for him cuz i knew he was coming for me) that combined with all the tickets i had for the 2 years i had my lisence was enought to to get my driver lisence supended for a year and a half,

It's funny, all of the times when I'm speeding and know I am speeding and know that if I got pulled over I'd deserve it I haven't. I was late to see Cabaret at my old university, so I was going at least 90 the whole way and 110 when I was in areas I knew couldn't be patrolled.

My two tickets were at the same speed trap. Just before you leave Cleveland Heights to go into South Euclid, it drops from 35 to 25. So the cop sits there in the 500 ft. long section of 25 mph Cleveland Heights to nab people who forget about the change. Shit, it's not like all the fucking stoplights aren't going to slow me down anyways, motherfucker.

Fucking Cleveland Heights fleecing non-residents for as much as they can. Motherfuckers.
