Back in the 80s Blueprint grew up listening to R & B music at home and singing in the church choir. He even was in a Boys II Men type group called All Day. But now Blueprint is best known for teaming up with RJD2 for their Soul Position records. Since then both have done their solo albums and Blueprint has brought us back to the old school with his 80s inflected album appropriately titled 1988.
big up Blueprint! Great show at the duster in Troy this spring, and at scribble last year.!!
peace!

I love Printmatic. I interviewed him & RJ a while back and they're two of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet in music.
I really hope Print can go places solo, though. With RJ, it's a good teamup, but it seems like he holds himself back from the amazing solo album I know he's capable of just so he can help push up some of his boys from Weightless.
That's magnanimous, I guess, but damn it - I wanna hear the solo shit I know he's really capable of.
