I'm dead broke, pre-menstral, unemployed, bored, and rather depressed. So, how was your day?

Same... except for that menstral thing.

i'm unemployed, not quite broke
hung over
lacking in the sleep department
but other than that fairly good.

when i tell myself i am that is.

It was awesome until I woke up.

woke up and got out of bed at 4am, got to the gym by 5am. spent 5hrs doing fuck all cos my one first consult (i write them fitness programs) didn't show. shmoozed for pt clients, did a killer chest workout then went home. picked up new laptop... and that's what i've been playing with for the last few hours.

My eyes hurt, my complexion sucks, my achy knee is telling me I have lymes, and my natural predilection for hiding from the world is preventing me from starting my life like I'm supposed to. But I'm still young, so I guess the world is still a'jibby and a'jabby with possibilities for the future.

I could complain but I don't really feel like it right now.

That was my days last week. Today?

Unemployed, feel like i am wasting away. And slightly depressed.

Today was better than most.
Went swimming, took a nap and just went to have coffe with a person i like talking to. I liked today more than most. Ohh, and talked to a person i miss terribly on the phone twice.
It was pretty good.

It was lovely weather-wise, so I stayed indoors. Read the paper, had some shu-mai, played around on this contraption. Then watched TV until midnight or so. Saw The Man Who Wasn't There for the first time in a while and was pleasantly surprised to see Scarlett Johansen in it.

I went to work. I spent the last 2 hours doing bills and making lists. Now, I'm thinking of rocky road ice cream and season one of Carnivale on DVD. It's an ok day.

Thus far day has gone: wake up in the early hours excited about the sickie I'm going to pull on account of a minor cold, at 8.45 ring my 18-year old supervisor at my shit agency job to tell her I won't be in. Following that, ring the shit agency. Feel impressed by how weak my voice sounds during the second phone call and wish it had been less perky while I was talking to aforementioned, and clearly suspicious supervisor.

Switch on puter, log on to SG and sit here actually feeling quite ill.

It's the 12th of July, so I stay inside to avoid the walking dead who spend the other 364 days of the year buired in grief holes yet rouse themselves to line the streets and stand still for 12 hours observing everything that passes them.

It also means I have the day off work. Normally I would love to have travelled out to my friend's house in the countryside, but he's in Italy right now. So I'm sitting here with a whole day of nothing ahead of me, considering how to fill it. Getting a lie in with my own bed is a rare thing I do appreciate, though.

Last night I finally got 150 stars in Super Mario Ds and I'm at a bit of a loss at what to do. I'mm maybe work on a bit of C++ and tidy my room up. Also keep thinking about when I'm going to leave my poorly paid job and see about getting another one. Not a bad day though.
