The great thing about Tim Roth is that he immediately puts you at ease by seeming like he doesn’t give a shit what questions you ask him. Other journalists at the Dark Water press event were lobbing some of the dumbest crap I ever heard at him and even though there 25 people in the room he answered them as though each one was the only person in the room.

In Dark Water, Roth plays a lawyer who is helping Jennifer Connelly through a tough divorce and then tries to help her with this strange situation...

love his work, can't wait for him to direct another film, because if you haven't seen Warzone yet, see it, it's an amazing film, one of my favourites, it does however tear a hole in you,

I'd described it as been dragged slowly through a field of broken glass willingly.

I think he's the only reason Im going to bother with the dark water remake, I have a scary problem that everytime I see tim roth I have the urge to masturbate wherever, whenever. Does that man ever have an effect over me!

One of the better movies I've seen with Tim Roth in it.

And I didn't know that there were any reasons to see Dark Water besides Rielly.

Not only is Timmy in it, but the producer of City of God worked on it?

That just just bumped it up one point over seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Interesting guy, and quite compelling to watch on screen. His range is impressive, and you get the sense he really enjoys what he does. Some of his lesser known independent works have been bizzare beyond words, but it's still always fun to watch him chew the scenery in the eccentric characters he takes on.

Despite the talent involved, this particular project he's promoting doesn't interest me, but it's still a good thing in that it gave you a chance to talk to him, Daniel. I might've expected him to be more pretentious (a la "method" actors like Daniel Day-Lewis). It's nice to hear him speak in such a practical and utilitarian way about the business, as many actors and filmmakers have done in your interviews. I tend to read into how things are phrased a bit (but horror isn't normally a genre I like anyway, with exceptions being films like those Roth mentioned), such as when he said he was a fan of Walter Salles/glad to finally work with him and see how he would attack a "studio" film- which in this context I take to mean a "lesser" film than a high quality independent or foriegn flick, which of course is usually the case.

I love that film. There are som many greats he was involved with though. I love The Legend Of 1900. One of my favorites. No Way Home was cool as hell. The roll in Everyone Says I Love You was funny, the attitude he brought to Hoodlums, I could go on and on. I have not seen anything with Tim Roth I didn't like. Even Invincible was good, just too long.

I actually went to Camberwell school of Art when Tim was there (he was a year or so above me). Even then he was an "actor" and he seemed to know where he wanted to be.
Who would've guessed that he would have got so far in his chosen profession. Well done Tim you are now truly one of our great British actors!!!

Tim Roth in Rob Roy may be the greatest thing ever in a movie . Watch it now if you haven't seen it yet . Just a perfect playing of a " villain " which actually gives reason that he is the way he is . And he was almost the only reason to watch Four Room more then once .
