How many jobs have you had and how many times have you been fired? I'm 23, have had 8 jobs and been "fired" once.

Had around 9 or 10 jobs, and only got halfway fired from one: my job as a writing monkey under contract from Mongoose Publishing in the UK.

And thank fucking God for it, too.

I've been fired 7 times from various restaurants and construction gigs. I've had about 15 jobs. I am 26 years old. I'm a convicted felon. Hire me.

does being "replaced by someone who's better at what you do" count?

My brother-in-law fired me from a crappy job working for him in his start-up fish packing business when I was 20. He was a total asshole and psychopath. People in Homer refer to him as "The Evil One".

I'm trying to find a good way to quit. I got into an amazing photography certificate program for this fall and need to quit. It's been a long time coming, I just need to figure out how to do it and still get paid for this month. I need the dough.

Any tips on a good way to quit?

i got fired from KFC after a shift...quit a resort kitchen job after one shift and quit a local restaurant kitchen job (I hate kitchens)
in total I had 8 jobs....this last one has been 9 years and I had two part time jobs while doing this job.

I've had numerous jobs, been fired a couple of times, but more often than not I upgrade to a "better" job long before they think about firing me.

Age: 25. I've had 4 jobs so far. One of them I quit, the others were given two weeks. The one I have now is the longest I've stayed in.

I've had 5 real jobs, and a couple very short-lived temp assignments. I was fired from one real job, and almost fired from another -- they cut down my hours until I said, "fuck, this place isn't worth it" and quit. I quit all the others. In fact, I quit the job at Jack In The Box several times, and kept coming back.

I was fired from my first job at 14 and a half at "Chicken Delight" because I accidentally microwaved an aluminum lasagna container.

I did quit one job when I had a shift manager who was (literally) retarded, and had a tendency to call me and say I had a shift, at which point I would begin the 30 minute journey to work, only to find upon arrival that she had 'thought 30 minutes was too long a trip for only a five hour shift, so had found a replacement, tried to call me, found I was out, and so continued with the new plan anyway'. So, yeah.

I've had nine jobs. I was sort of fired from one, but it was more that I was there on a trial basis and I "wasn't working out."
By not working out, it turns out that the classified ad saying that experience required didn't mean that I needed experience working in a deli, but that I had to know exactly how things were done there. That guy was such an asshole. They have good sammiches there though.

Two real jobs, and lots and lots of jobs that should have been real, except no one was paying me to do them.

I have never been fired or even quit a job. I just stop going to work. I've had.....around ten jobs I think.

28 years old, I've had 11 jobs, never been fired (came close a few times) but quit several of those jobs after a few days because they sucked enormous amounts of ass. And I just finished my first shift at my new job at a liquor store, which would be number 12.

22, 5 jobs, was fired/quit from Burger King after a lively discussion of the manager's intelligence, appearance, and legitimacy of birth.

i've had a shit ton of jobs. all in the restaurant biz, but i usually have two jobs at once the real kitchen and the fuck money. now though that i'm a "respectable adult" one very good gig, however the grass is always greener.
