Rampant Stupidity

I was just perusing my "Stupidest Things Ever Said" page-a-day calendar and came across this gem:

"Sundance (Film Festival) is weird. The movies are weird - you actually have to think about them when you watch them"

Let the comments commense, people...

well...it is true...they are weird, and you do have to think about them...

and she doesn't say she's opposed to thinking about movies. She's just saying it's something weird she's never done before.

if you can produce more of the quote that possibly states her position on thinking about movies, maybe I'll change my mind, but as it stands, it's not the stupidest thing ever said.

It's a fairly obvious quote, but in and of itself all it says is that she's not used to watching movies that require thinking. At least she's at Sundance.

weird isn't usually a positive thing with most people.
