Renting a Moving Truck

So I am going to be moving from Michigan to California. I am planning on renting a truck to move across the country. I was woundering if anybody had any recommendations on who to, or not to rent from? i.e. Uhal, Budget...

Uhaul has the oldest trucks on the Planet. I think they get them when the Pakistahni Govt is done with them.
I have used Ryder a few times, and they were alright. The back is a little higher than a uhaul, but they are flat inside, no wheel well humps like a uhaul.

Here's a little tip that may or may not work for you, it's been years since I've rented.

I called Ryder and got a quote, they ask for all your info. Then I called Uhaul and got a better price. A day or 2 later Ryder called and asked why I hadn't booked yet, and then beat Uhauls price.

I've never been happy with UHaul. Particularly because they bait and switch. They quote you one price over the phone and then end up tacking on endless surcharges once you're in the door.
