NEWS: Anti-Gay Hate Spews Over Fallen Soldier's Funeral

These Westboro Baptist Church fuckers are weak. Two years ago, they claimed to have informed the FBI that I was sending them death threats via email.

They should have gotten the National Guardsmen from Kent State in 1970 as the security detail, if you know what I mean.

This was actually a pro gay protest, they were doing their best to make anti-gay supporters look worse than they already do.

Problem is, these guys want to be martyred. It would get them so news coverage and that's what they crave. Ultimately the best thing to do is to ignore them and let them choke to death on their rage.


I admit that its very tempting to help with the choking though.

What's most sad is that the girl on the left is essentially innocent, at a point in her life where she's a blank slate. She can't read her shirt, and she can't really conceive of, or internalize the indoctrination she's no doubt already receiving.

The girl on the right is just old enough to be able to regurgitate the crap they're feeding her, as rote sloganeering that doesn't really mean anything to her.

They're happy, and probably pleasant little kids, who are on the cusp of being lost to lives of unreasoning hate. It makes me sick, and it makes me sad.

The Westboro Baptist Church should be burnt to the ground along with its hateful ways.

And those protesters should be beaten until their very bones reverberate with our rejection of their ideals.

Not out of hatred, but out of love and defense for our brethren whom they are attacking.

He's been arrested about a dozen times on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to assault to witness intimidation. He's managed to escape prison mostly on technicalities. If he ever sets foot in Canada again, he will be immediately arrested and put on trial for a variety of crimes...

...I really hope he goes to protest a gay wedding up there.

I read this story and I thought "What. The. Fuck??" and then I started thinking "It must be parody. It can't be real." but it is real. It's just plain bonkers. I cannot understand what these people are thinking. The only thing that makes sense is that they're trying to make homophobes look worse. But even that is pretty nonsensical.

I don't understand people like that. Their blind hatred absolutely boggles my mind. What could they possibly have hoped to gain by disrupting that poor soldier's funeral? How dare they lay that shit on a grieving family? How fucking heartless and mindless must one be to buy into that kind of bullshit?

Unfortunately, 'Reverend' Phelps was a lawyer. DIsbarred, but was a lawyer. He's not stupid, just ignorant. The man protested the funeral of Mr. Rogers. I remember reading an interview with a little girl from Westboro. She spouted the usual bull about 'fags' and the whole dogmatic drama. When asked if she knew was a 'fag' was, she replied in the negative.

THey want attention. They get it regularly. I can't wait until the head honcho dies, and I hope that will break the spell. If I pray for anyone, I pray for his wife.
