Remember when we were kids, and we were told that two wrongs don't make a right? Did anyone ever consider that this might actually be true?
Revenge is almsot never justifible. Not if you are over the age of twelve, and have IQ above 75. It's just petty, and weak. And it's certainly not the kind of example a parent should be making.
anyone who swears they are so "above revenge" isn't really human
its shit like this that makes me sad for humanity.
every story like this ( real or a hoax , [ which i happen to think this is ] ) furthers the idea that being a women pardons you for doing all sorts of bad shit , if its a man you are doing bad shit to.
this kind of shit will get passed around offices, and the ( I apologize in advance for the blanket generalization, i am not anywhere near as mysogonystic [spelling and grammar ?] as it makes me appear ) women reading it will be going "right on sister , he emotionally abused you, so why not fucking destroy his personal property. ( and the car is just as destroyed for the guy as if she had demolished it, in the sense that he is no longer able to use it, in fact more destroyed , cause at least if she had demolished it , he could have gotten the insurance ) ( also don't try to argue that it was her personal property to do with as she pleased just because her name was also on the pink slip, the decision to have joint ownership on things isnt so that one person can burn the other if they are having a bad day , its so that in case a person is incapable of making a decision on the item in question, and its not something that can wait till they are capable of making the decision, their trusted partner ( be it buisness , love or whatever ) can make the decision for them, so its one less thing for them to worry about when they are back in the loop )
there is no argument that can be brough forth stating that her response ( even if there were multiple instances of him doing shit like this ) were anything close to approaching what a , rational , reasonable , and mature person would do. her actions were the actions of an angry and hurt child.
again , the issue isn't so much whether this is real or a hoax , but people's reaction to it, and the absolute disregard for rational thought when presented with emotional facts.

It's not so much about being above revenge as it is realizing that it's generally not very practical and will likely end up causing more trouble than it's worth. Unless, you know, you're going to kill the shmuck.

1)Well then, call me Robot. because I can honestly say that I have never taken revenge out on anyone. Honestly. The reaosns for that, probably have nothing to do with my being a saint, though...
2)What boundforburn said. It's one thing to understand the feelings behind an action. It's another to praise someone for it.
