I'm 23 and still live with my ma and pa. Who else? I know I can't be totally alone! I hope.

I'm not sure. But I know that it's a hell of a lot cooler then living on the opposite side of the house from your parents.

Nope, not since I was 17.

And I admire anyone that can do it because as it was I feel I stayed there too long.

Father isn't my real father, but he says once the great re-unification happens, I and all of his children will sit forever at the table of all tables.

Is that what you mean?

I managed to move out at 19 and I've never moved back. *knock on wood* Both my brothers have returned at one time or another for financial or medical reasons. I've found even when I've lived close to my parents, they rarely come over. The space between us has allowed us to develop a much better relationship.

There's nothing wrong with living at home at 23, especially if you're in school or working towards something good. Give it a few more years before you start really worrying about it.

I'm 20, in college and I live with my parents. My mom does my laundry and occasionally cleans my room. I drive my dad's car 6 days and 7 nights a week. PITY ME

My half brother is pushing 40 and he lives at home with his mom. It's fucking creepy. Don't do it. Get a real job and be an adult ... unless you are either:
A. Putting yourself through school, or
B. Taking care of an elderly/disabled parent/sibling/grandparent who needs you

In either case, kudos to you. Otherwise, KNOCK IT THE FUCK OFF!

I moved out at 17. I have a large amount of water and land between myself and my parents. They are really cool, but I like it this way.

Oddly enough, aside from two years living on campus, I lived with my mom for the last 22 years. But it was she that just moved out a few months ago.

I'm keeping the house until I graduate college. Just in case she hates Boston.
