I've got a Glock that say Fridge runs the block.

Sorry, this isn't Silliness, let me be serious....I once saw a much smaller guy completely disable a much larger guy in a fight by grabbing the guy's hand and snapping his index finger. It wasn't pretty but it was unbeliveably effective.

a tightly rolled up magazine is an effective weapon to punch someone with. (punch into them with the end obviously.)

A roll of coins also works nicely. My father told me about being Shore Patrol in the Navy back in the 70's. They'd keep a roll of dimes in the neckerchiefs they had to wear with their uniforms. It made an excellent weapon.

Of course, not alot of people go forth wearing neckerchiefs anymore, so a simple roll of dimes or whatever can add quite a bit of punch to your, well, punch.

It's all about the kneecaps. I don't care how big you are, if someone kicks you straight in the kneecap as hard as they can, you're going down for good.

it's a LOT harder to snap someone's kneecap than it is to break a finger.
also, if that person figures out what you are trying to do, you're a dead man.

True. If the person knows what they're doing, its not all that hard to roll the leg with the kick and reduce the blow to a minor nuisance. Fingers are easy and hurt a hell of alot.

If in close, you can also rake a hard soled shoe down the shin and slam down on the top of the foot. Hurts quite a bit and can slow someone down.

yeah coins work as good cheap brass knuckles. I was mainly talking about using a magazine in the same way you'd use the end of a baton, if you were using it to "poke" (really fucking hard though.

Definitely works. I've been hit in the side of the head with a swung magazine rolled real tight and it sent me reeling.
