maybe he was making her serve him fishsticks and he's like "Put some ketchup on my sticks bitch!" And she splashes a lil and he's like "You gonna pay for that". plus i think euros are worth more than dollars so 4 might be like 560,097 dollars.

Except it was four pounds, not euros surreal

On a side note, if it was her fault, then she should pay. On £25,000 a year it's not like she's in the bread queue, is it?

Four pounds is what, eight bucks or something? Pssh, who gives a shit? People who penny-pinch like that drive me up the wall. Fucking cheapskates.

Anyone can contribute items to the news wire. I look forward to reading yours.

Who fucking cares, seriously?

All these people?

If it's good enough for these national / international news sources it's good enough for me.
BBC News
Reuters
Scotsman
CNN
The "London" Times
The Daily Mail
The Mirror
The Sun

EDIT: notice the time stamps on the SG article and all those other links.

Reading the News?

You sound like you're only interested in getting army points, not in providing interesting news.

Oh well.

Don't just bitch and moan. Write your own articles and submit them, or provide links to interesting stories and I'll write it for you.

Read the FAQ on the submit page.

Read Sorcha's advice.

Read Shalome's advice.

Everyone else is doing a fine job picking articles, as are you in most other cases.

Just not in this case, in my opinion. If I want to say I found the story boring, I will, and I did. Just because I don't write news articles here doesn't mean I'm not entitled to voice my opinion on the articles others submit.

Should people not send letters to the editor because they don't write articles themselves?

There's no need to be nasty to d_z kiddo. He's not after amry points, he's more like a news savant. He frames everything he says into a news story, its pretty incredible really.

You probably don't want to have sex with him though. That shit just gets creepy.

Well, hmm, okay, fair enough.

It's not the most constructive crit you could give though. What about it is boring, or is it just that you don't know why people are bothering to report it? If it's my writing, or the quotes I've pulled, then I need to know about that stuff. I'm still a new editor so I'm still shaky on some of this.

But (and correct me if I'm wrong) you seem to be saying something along the lines of "WTF, why is this even news?" I've found it interesting to compare the reactions of US and UK readers. There's some insight into the UK love for the underdog, even if they're wrong, and the UK dislike for the Boss.

My point about contributing is still valid, even if not directly applicable to you. If people don't like the news wire they should submit articles.

Not liking the news story has nothing to do about how I feel about him. I thought the article was boring. Period. By the way, by article I mean the real one, not the summary he wrote.

Yes, my point is that I don't see why this is even news, at all. This exact thing has probably happened thousands of times in America, but apparently it's a really exciting event in the UK and I have no clue why. You writting and quoting was fine.
