serious question about poopie

Okay, I've never seen this questions answered anywhere before but I've always been curious. Warning: this is a seriousely gross question so hit the back button if you can't handle it.

Not that I seek them out, but I've always liked the smells of my own body. My own shit, my own B.O., my own bad breath, whatever. Now, if it were someone else, I'd be gagging. So I'm wondering- is this a universal thing? Does everyone like their own smells? My guess is yes, but I'm just curious. I can't imagine someone being grossed out by their own smells.

It's not just you. Most people I have talked to are not bothered by their own gas, b.o., etc. but completely grossed out by others. I don't enjoy mine, but I am not grossed out by them either.

i think people are a little more immune to their own odours.

There's a good earthy shit smell that when it comes out of me it's somewhat satisfying whereas if it were from someone esle it would be just rank, however there have been times when I've wanted to cut my own ass off and drive a stake through its heart.

i'm down with the smell of my armpit sweat but none of the other offending odors. i think i associate smelly pits with a hard days work so if i stink, i must have done something good!

I actually hate the smell of my underarm B.O- the reason is I had surgery under my arms and couldn't wear anti-persprent...so reminds me of the pain of trying to not rip my stiches by raising my arms above my head.
I also hate the smell of my piercings...but farts? they are like roses!!

I don't like the smell of my own poop, but the smell of my underarms, the smell of my vag, the smell of my morning breath all fascinates me. Esp. my vag.

I even kinda like the smell of my boyfriend's BO ok. When he wakes up in the morning and smells of sweat, it doesn't gross me out the way it does with others.

i don't mind my b.o. smell as much...poopie (hehe) is universally gross, no matter whose it is...and i love my boyfriend's armpit stink too, mostly because it just smells like water-it's amazing, in over 3 years of dating, i have only really gotten a b.o. smell from him twice, and we played DDR religiously together!

Wait, what? I've never been pierced a day in my life; the piercings smell?
