Yeah don't get a Lexmark no matter what. Mine works for crap, and died within a year of buying it. I have a friend who had the same thing happen. They're cheap but obviously not worth it.

Yep and the Lexmark driver uses obscene amounts of system resources even when your not printing.
All that and it reports back to Lexmark.
Stay away.
I like my HP, but it is a bit spendy. Also, I don't print all that much on it. And I'm not really a printing snob. So I guess I'm not really the person to ask. Except that I like it.
The Amazon review of my HP 2110. Looks like it was discontinued. You can get it for $49! They still make the cartridge (it's one of the ones that fits into about a jillion models). I'm with the last dude's review, it is noisy, but other than that, it's cool.
