An eight year old girl was beaten with a belt and shoes; she was cut with a knife; she had chilli peppers rubbed into her eyes. Why? To beat the devil out of her.

Similar stories have been reported before on SG. This story has a lot of similarities to the Victoria Climbie case. This case is especially chilling when you hear that 300 boys disappeared in three months in 2001.

These disappearances were discovered by police investigating what they think is the ritual killing of another small boy.

Amateurs.. You have to get a red hot poker... that's how you get the devil out.

I just don't understand how these people could torture a child while honestly thinking that SHE is the one possesed by evil. WTF!

OK, but the 300 boys missing from school between July and September - the teachers knew that there weren't supposed to be classes, right?

don't I seem to remember an SG news piece about the law requiring an ordained priest for excosisms?

the world is full of crazies.

They're the ones that need the devil beaten out of them.

Otherwise the devil might sew the seeds of wickedness and we'd all be doomed.

The devil is supposed to be intangible, at least if he's possessing you. Why would you be able to beat it out?

look at the crusades. look at the salem witch hunts. bleeding therepy and torture for curing depression. the imperialist nature in which all "world leaders rome usa etc) carry themselves.

there will always be zealots who will never either conform to the current social standards of normality or help start a new world community. what worked for our grandparents doesn't mean it will work for us. dinosaurs still live amoung us and it is through their power in old wealth and other archaic forms that contribute and have contributed to oligarchs new and old (and i use the world lightly only because the even though the measure of power was there in ex: the romans, they did not really control the whole world, just what was in their reach). this ability to propagandize enough of the next generation to keep this circle repeating is what needs most attention.

k, im complaining to much. but the point is, we need a Total reform in economic, political, religious etc policy. it will take about 2700 years if history has anythign to say about it but it can happen. maybe?
