The Comcast here works well. I don't use the On-Demand much, but it's there when I do. Since I subscribe to HBO and Starz, those networks' On-Demand content is free.

The internet connection is also good. Fast, and it's been down once in about 3 years, and that was a hardware incompatibility issue, not a network problem. Got a new modem, and it was good as new.

If I were to complain about them, though, it's their customer service. If something does go wrong, I end up fixing it myself because they're clueless.

Call them up and tell them that you are unwilling to pay for a service that is not being provided to you as promised. Tell them that should the problem continue, you'll be seeking another cable provider.

Then, once you're finished with the free month they give you, switch to satellite.

And yes, get a DVR. It's like manna from heaven. I recorded the entire West Wing marathon week. Some 40+ hours of Josh Lyman. biggrin
