What is stalking exactly? If I like a girl I might try to put myself in situations where she will be around, but no fuckin way would I like sneak to a girls house at night and peak into her window n shit like that.

my current journal details my most recent, and hopefully last encounter with one of my psycho stalker girls. this one is tricky, however, as she'll be ok for like a month, and then she'll go crazy and do fucked up, creepy shit.

When I was a kid I had this older friend people called Weasel (I know there's at least one other person on SG who knows who I'm talking about). Anyway, in the years before they passed a number of state laws forbidding this kind of behavior, he was for a time what you might call a serial or maybe a recreational stalker.

We were hanging out in the outdoor seating of our cafe one afternoon when he told me all about it. He had been unemployed for awhile, dealing and doing "odd jobs" to make ends meet. There wasn't much to do during the day while everyone he knew was at work or school, so he made his own fun. He'd pick a mark in the late morning at random in some public place and follow them around throughout the rest of the day. If they went into a private residence or a bathroom, he'd just hang out and wait. He never harassed anyone directly, but he admitted to following a few women around who were really freaked out by his presence.

Weasel was 6'3", 210 pounds, green mohawk, really pale and very irish. He really stood out in a lot of the places he went. Strange guy, he wasn't exactly bad, but he really wanted to be and just hadn't figured everything out yet. Very, very charismatic and prone to this sort of behavior.

His goal? He wasn't even interested in the people he followed. He was killing time in a bizarre fashion that suited him for some reason. I don't think he was typical of stalkers, I imagine most of them think they have an interest in the person they're after.

I've had persistent unwanted come-ons from a couple of people, but never anyone I'd consider a stalker. That sort of thing must be scary.

I've been trying to stalk Veronica for almost a year now, but it's tough seeing that she's in PDX and I'm just outside of Philly. I still find my ways.

I think that, after today, I'm also stalking Quinne. Yeah ... in Canada.

I'll never amount to ANYTHING as a stalker ....

I had a stalker once ... her name was Kim. I was working at a local Wawa (convenience store, for those outside of the Wawa zone.).

She'd show up wherever I was working (this was back in college so I worked in multiple stores to maximize the hours) and just hang for hours and hours. Yeah, like watching me clean the slicer is a HUGE turn-on.

Anyway, I actually put up with it for a month or two because I had just gotten out of a long relationship and was lonely; I loved the attention; she always gave me weed; and she gave great head (yeah, I know ... I'm a guy).

It finally got just WAY too creepy and I told her I wasn't interested ... she took it well, thank god 'cause by then I was seeing someone else that she knew.

mmmmm .... Diane ....
there's a story for another day.

I'd see this truck that I knew was owned by a girl I had hardly ever spoken to but simply adored. I'd write poems and leave them on her windshield. Nothing ever came of it, obviously. I still managed to garner some satisfaction out of it having at least gotten those mushy thoughts out of my head and on paper.

I stalked someone, sort of, well, I figured he liked me, he kept looking at me. So I followed him home (this was after seeing him for like 5 years), tailed him in my car actually, and got his address, sent him an anonymous love letter. We wound up together for over 6 years, from day 1. He thought I was sort of obsessive, but then he realized I was completely serious, and was hooked really fast. He brought me a barbed wire heart that I wish I still had... one of my favourite things ever, it had old roses stuck in it. He made me laugh. In the morning I still thought he was beautiful.

And, um, does Marla count? wink

Some creepy people can't take no for an answer. Luckily I've never been stalked or been insane enough to be a stalker... but its been close.

stalking? pfft. that shit's for the birds. bok

and marla... it's ok. you have an entire army of people stalking you. i think after two simultaneous stalkers, it becomes more of a social congregation. hence deeming it necessary for a euphemism, like "spectating" or "sharing" you.

hahahaha i like that one... sharing YOU!
