What's the best way to get over a big crush with someone? Help me defeat infatuation.

The only advice you all have is get drunk or perpetuate your pain?! Oh man, it doesn't look good for me.

I find that a nice trauma will change an opinion on anything. Spend a day getting completely infatuated with person, then around ten at night realize/find something abour the person that is completely abhorrent. Stay awake for hours debating persuing or dropping, until the sun rises. Watch it do so. Crash in bed with clothes and makeup still on. Sleep until four or five at night. Ask yourself of "breakfast" what you saw in person anyway.

Get people to crush on you. Feeling that you're the one in control instead of being led around by the dick and/or heartstrings is always a mood lifter. Yeah, yeah, easier said than done.
