I read all the write ups from E3 on that game...I think it looks like a ton of fun!

and I highly doubt anyone will protest the game for any reason

That game looks pretty damn good!

Maybe the creationists could bring out an expansion pack (like there are for Sims). I can see the blurb now: "sit back and watch as your God creates a world in only 6000 years..."

Whatever, Evo for the Super Nintendo was the same thing, and Sim Earth was similar for multiple platforms. Not that either of those were very popular but they've been around for a long time.

Why not? The game doesn't run itself. It requires a Creator to Intelligently Design your alien race. It's a G O D game.
