Anyway, I haven't seen her in The Proffesional, but I think she sucked ass in Star Wars. Her role was dramatic; esp. in Episode 2. She was just plainly 2D + fake. Like the bit where she falls of the ship flying to help Anakin + Yoda. She's rolling around in the sand going *ow, ow* + then the jedi goes over + goes *are you OK?* + she instantly jumps up and goes *yes! yes! we must go help!!* ROTFLMAO + she was totally unconvincing in the love scenes.
This of course is my opinion. You don't have to agree.
But the role of Arwen in lord of the rings requires some incredible + convincing acting + to learn the elvish language etc. I just think she has a habit of being a bit fake with her acting. Besides Natalie Portman doesn't look remotely Elvish.

Well in my OPINION none of the acting in the lastest Star Wars installments was stellar, which shows poor directing. I just don't think George's heart is in it anymore.

I haven't seen the 2nd star wars so maybe she sucks now, but she was great in the professional. I just think she has an elven look about her with the young face, glowy skin, and quite old looking eyes. I just don't picture Arwen as tall, busty and model beautiful. I can't bring myself to see the movie, I don't want to picture actors in my head whenever I re-read the books. Especially Liv Tyler as Arwen. I think she's beautiful and a good actress, but an elf!

But hey, then again i'm one of those weird guys that is only attracted to girls with brains.
