my friend had the entire series on tape and i took a week and watched it from beginning to end. i fucking loved it, but have to wonder how easy it would have been to follow broken into hour long blocks over a few years. i LOOOVVVEEE the giant guy, he was sooo freaky! and Bob- Bob was a spooky motherfucker.

I'm one of the lucky ones that has a tape of the original airing of the pilot. I don't know what I would do without it. I can't imagine watching the UK version with Bob being real and everything.

I've seen the series so many times! I have the tape box-set and the 1st season on DVD.

Now, do any of you know about the directors cut of FWWM? Lynch filmed a bunch more scenes with a lot more of the people of Twin Peaks that didn't make it into the final cut of the movie. So, don't go saying that Lynch is a hero or anything, he's been withholding valuable TP footage! There's a petition online somewhere that you can sign for the release of the directors cut, but I'm too lazy to find it again.

jesus, i was the biggest twinkie back in the day... ( i was in middle school when twin peaks was on and i swear on all that is holy, i watched every episode!!!)
i was sooo freaked out by bob. nightmares. had a total crush on audrey. remember that stupid song that laura's ex boy sang to donna? how did it go?
i have to stop. i could quote all day from that show.
the last episode made me want to die. dammit david lynch, he was just being a dick because they cancelled his show...

a shoot in the hotel (Great Northern was it?), in the very same room as where cooper slept! Or on the diner counter! (but didn't that place burn down?)

the city of Snoqualmie Falls is still around and the diner still exists - hasn't burned down yet! they even have Chrry Pie. from what i hear, it's not really that great.

the inside shots for the Great Northern were filmed somewhere else, though.

i had a dream last night...

kinda like cooper, but mine was about him. i dreamt that Twin Peaks was still on the air and had been since it got cancelled. weird. in the dream though, i wasn't a big fan. i think i even made fun of it.

that's what i get for getting too little sleep. i ahte waking up in the middle of dreams.

Twin Peaks rocks.

It's so incredibly funny and great, and the DVDs look absolutely beautiful. I also cannot wait for the second season to come out.

Also..

Any Twin Peaks set ideas have to involve Audrey somehow, because Audrey is hot and rocks.

how could we forget?! you're right. audrey is essential. even if it's just the cherry stem tying in the mouth.

The Fire Walk With Me dvd was supposed to have all the extra footage, but at the last minute an agreement with the french financiers who own said material fell apart, and the decision was made to get the dvd out on the market anyway.

Not Lynch's fault at all, in this case...if you want to blame him for anything, try the lack of commentary/extra stuff on the Mullholand Dr. dvd.

I love Twin Peaks...freaky show. One of these days when all the episodes are on DVD i will get a bag of weed and WATCH WATCH WATCH
