eh heard it wasnt that great, and i gotta stay away from those mmo's theyre nothing but a let down. I played galaxies cause i love star wars, but SOE fucked the game up and now ALOT of people including me have canceled their subscriptions for good. WoW wasnt that fun either, it got repetitive. and i know Guildwars will be too. I'm kinda looking forward to Beyond Blitzkrieg...which is funny, when Planetside came out i joked for a while about someone making a world war 2 mmofps and theyve done it....oh well whateva
A couple things seperate it from other games on the market...Guild Wars does not have a monthly fee...You pay to buy the game and are playing in less then 10 minutes...
The game has a really cool story line....A total surprise for the player....
You can be dual classed...Ie...Fighter/Monk...
The game is not a time sink...You can max your level in 2 weeks playing only one hour a day...20 is the max level.
You can skip the whole Pve aspect and jump into the pvp by makeing a level 20 charcter....just for pvp playing...
The game is not perfect...One thing I do not like about the missions....You either finish them do them correctly or start over from the begining of the mission, so this leads to doing some missions five or six times till you get it right...You can not save the game in the middle of mission and start from that point each time...
Playing GW reminds me of Pre-Luclin EQ...
The game cost $50 dollars, it is well worth the money imho...
Jim a/k/a Crylin Goldentongue look me up in game if ya just starting I give ya some cool gear and stuff
What it seems to come down to is that every new game that comes out is another variation on Everquest. There is only so much that can be done with that game model, and I feel that I've done it all, twice at least.
