Serious question. A guy comes up to you with a red cobra on his lapel and a job offer. He's offering 60,000$ a year with full medical and dental, plus retirement. You'll have to relocate immediately, but training, housing, and travel are paid for. You'll most likely end up in the rough equivalent of an infantry job, but there are also openings for technicians, mechanics, pilots, and marketing staff.

The only downside is that you are working for the bad guys.

It's not like you'd have to fear death at the hands of the Joes, either. Those laser guns apparently couldn't aim for shit. I think in all the COBRA/GIJoe conflicts that ever took place, maybe three people died, and those were probably from old age or random accidents.

All things considered, though, I'd rather join HYDRA. More competant leadership. Or the Guild of Calamitous Intent. They're pretty much the only organization I still respect.

plus, training? what training? at what point did any cobra foot soldier (other than a BATS unit) demostrate any sort of trained skill? they couldn't shoot, fly, or drive for shit.
