what books do you read to to ruin?

seems like a lot of vonnegut books are getting trashed. i used to not like my books getting worn out, but i've grown fond of books with that nice worn look/feel, as someone else said, it's shown they've been loved. and there's nothing like being able to find your favorite poem/part simply because the spine is cracked just so.

Yeah, all my reading materials only last a week. I get more cereal then.

My copies of Generation of Swine and Curse of Lono have seen better day.
Plus my R. Crumb collections and Four Past Midnight.

I tore the cover off my copy of "Prozac Nation" and threw it across the room... does that count?

My Breakfast of Champions falls open to the page where Dwane Hoover remembers that poem he had to memorize in High School:

I got a Ray Carver collection thats jut ass worn ragged.

I just saw that book at work tonight. I'm taking that as a sign...

And my Harry Potters look rather ragged.

I'm a comic reader so I can't handle even breaking a spine of my normal books... But my copy of Good Omens is looking worse for wear... same with The Crysalids...

These are the books in the worst condition. I re-read books all the time. In fact, I think I'll find one to read right now. Adios.
