They've all been said alreayd but Bruce Willis in any Die Hard movie and Brad Pitt in Snatch and Fight Club are the best.

I have this vague recollection of seeing Chinese soldiers beat Richard Gere with rubber hoses in the movie Red Corner, but that could just be either wishful thinking on my part, or some deeply embarassing Freudian dream.

its not really a beating, but the scene where brad pitt gets hit by a car at the beginnning of meet joe black is well worth the money.
