After stumbling upon this thread I realized that I have also never seen "Blazing Saddles" ... or even "Young Frankenstein", for that matter.

Which is strange because I love Mel Brooks and have seen "History Of The World: Pt. I" eleventeen times.

Scarface
Donnie Darko
Return of the Jedi
Wizard of Oz
Requiem For a Dream
Godfather movies
Harry Potter movies--tried to watch the first one and kept falling asleep

I'm sure there are many more but none ever get the response that Wizard of Oz does.

Never having seen The Wizard of Oz is almost inconcievable to me. I couldn't avoid that movie growing up.

I have never seen Titanic, nor will I ever. Also have not seen Gone With the WInd, Casablanca, Apocolypse Now, any of the Friday the 13th movies...Watched about 12 minutes of thin red line, but got angry at it's fucking "cinematic" flashback crap and turned it off.

I'm never shocked and appalled by any film related answer. Everybody has their own tastes.

For example, I loathe what may very well be the most beloved movie of my generation, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

That is actually shocking .. and a not a little appalling to boot!
biggrin

My big miss is probably The Shawshank Redemption.
Don't like prison movies. They make my ass hurt.

Yep, some ass-raping in Shawshank.

The weird thing about this subject is when you finally see one of those movies everyone has been telling you is great , then you realize for yourself it's great you can't really tell anyone about it . I've never seen Citizen Kane . But what am I going to do when I see it if I love it ? Go to one of my friends and say Citizen Kane is fucking awesome . They're going to be like " no shit " . So yeah I haven't seen

Godfather
Citizen Kane
Donnie Darko
Die Hard
Terminator 2
and countless other immensely popular films .
